PhotoThe purpose of this research is to use modern statistical methods in cooperation with FPL scientists to improve the quality and effectiveness of advances in wood utilization research.

Objectives Summary
The objective is to use modern statistical methods to enhance the integrity and efficiency of FPL research.

Approach Summary
(1) Use specialized experimental designs to compare the effect of different treatments as powerfully and efficiently as possible, (2) use advanced computer-intensive statistical methods to incorporate real world complexities, and (3) use innovative ways to model research results and predict future performance under a variety of conditions.
