Throwback Thursday: Testing Wood Finishes by Following the Sun

Paul Evans inspects wood specimens mounted on the panel of a “sun follower,” designed by Arthur Koster. In the 1960s Koster’s device was used to track the sun thereby increasing exposure to daily solar radiation and accelerating tests of finishes on wood specimens.
