Partnership Profile - Biocide
ACML Collaboration with NanoDynamics Life Sciences Inc.
ACML personnel collaborated with NanoDynamics Life Sciences in the development of a test protocol
to demonstrate the efficacy of a slow release biocide system (termed NanoCide) for incorporation into
wood composite materials.
Additionally, ACML developed the Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry
(LC/MS) analytical method used to measure release rates of various NanoCide formulations/designs
provided by NanoDynamics. Trial data generated by ACML was included as a component of data submission
requirements of Phase 1 product testing for a USDA grant.
